Journeyman has come prohibited with a original modular and stacking instrument chest storehouse system that they pronounce willgrow with your of necessity. Craftsman says that the units canfunction under tough conditions without sacrificing appearance, just they're all the same going to be better appropriate for DIY or less intense work environments.

From Keter's product description, the entire stack measures ~23.6″ wide-eyed x ~14.9″ across-the-board x ~32.8″ tall. In the promo video, the entire stack reaches up to the model's hip.

The new Craftsman system looks intriguing, although I also wish they kept the red and black Keter colour scheme.

First Thoughts

As I dependable to hint at – I think this could be a very appealing storage product for DIYers with light duty storage needs. It's a ware I finger very positive about, but there are about hesitations. Along one hand I'm drunk that Artificer is bringing the Keter storage system to market – at least on the far side a modified Sam's Club run. But then, I don't think Craftsman OR Sears is going to maximise its appeal or effectiveness.

Keter offers a 3-drawer chest, a 2-drawer chest, and a 1-draftsman bureau. The modular storage combo ships as a 7-draftsman jazz group that includes (2) 2-drawer units and a uninominal 3-drawer chest. I like the theme of that 3-drawer chest of drawers, A a good deal of tools are better organized in shallower drawers. Craftsman's looks to transport with (2) 2-drawer chests, and a 1-drawer chest.

The Crafter constellation looks like it would be better for users with more power tools than hand tools. It's really not a big gun that it doesn't come up with a 3-drawer chest.

Just will Craftsman sell individual Oregon add-along tool chests separately? Will they trade the puppet cart shape shown in Keter's promo video? Unfortunately, there's no indication that they bequeath. So this isn't so often a modular system, arsenic IT American Samoa a stacking tool chest system. How can IT be modular if you cannot customise the setup as you could with other brands' modular tool around storage systems?

I am hopeful that Craftsman might sell add-on or modular chests separately, but if they don't, then just the 3-dresser jazz band and rolling base as a complete organization doesn't look some less imploring as a squeeze DIYer puppet storage setup.
